Adams was the daughter of an U.S. Army officer in Italy and grew within Castle Rock Colorado. In the mid-1990s she began professional dancing and acting with the Boulder Dinner Theatre and the Country Dinner Playhouse in Colorado. Then in Minnesota and at a local theatre, she was a chosen to be a part of the mock documentary about beauty pageants called Drop Dead Gorgeous. In Los Angeles, she pursued an acting career after her film debut, in which she played a dizzy but friendly contestant. Janet Leigh got married to Tony Curtis between June 1951 between June 1951 and September 1962. She's the mother of Kelly Curtis (and Jamie Lee Curtis) and Jamie Lee Curtis. Leigh was discovered via the actress Norma Shearer Leigh signed a contract with MGM to begin her journey as a film actress in the mid 40s. She appeared in several popular films over the following decade such as Alfred Hitchcock's Psycho (1960) as well as Living It Up (a Martin and Lewis-film that was released in 1954).
