Beautiful pics of Tamara Day and Sarah Stiles feet & legs
The kids were at the crib, as I was strapped to one of them on my back. Ha! The whole thing started to make sense, but was still far from being done. To complete this task, I was prepared to shell out a substantial amount of time and money searching for the perfect home. To stay in the realm of budgets, I took to by taking my sons to estate sales in search of diamonds. Our routine was to walk around garage sales and auctions on Sundays and Saturdays, and buy a variety of old pieces and new constructed. I'd spend my workdays at the end of the driveway, working on painting or sanding. The look was similar to this... This is the time my love of restoration of furniture started. After our home was furnished I couldn't put it down! I also had a booth at the market to sell items. In the end, I had so many pieces I didn't have a clue what to do with them and outgrew the space. At home, I began hosting open houses in which more than 1,000 people were able to come in and buy any item they wanted on the first floor over the course of a weekend. Growing Days was created in this home. As my business flourished and so did our small family. There was a perfect balance between starting a business as well as being a mom. Growing Days seemed like the ideal fit. Nora was born in 2013 as our 4th baby. I loved where my business was heading but I needed some time off. I decided to take some time off from my vintage furniture and slow down to stay at home with the kids. It was exactly what I needed. However after a few months without a phone, it began to ring. I was getting messages from individuals asking to help with their home improvement and interior design. These people had mostly attended my house during the open houses to purchase furniture. The time flew by before I managed a large-scale business for home improvement. I began by taking clients on one in a manner that I was at ease with. Most likely, I would have been laughing if somebody had informed me that my venture was going to be the basis for an upcoming TV show on DIY Network. Even now, when I think about the circumstances, I find myself laughing.
