Carano was born in Dallas County, Texas, but was raised in Las Vegas, Nevada, her mother was Dana Joy Cason and casino executive and former professional football player Glenn Carano. She is middle child among three sisters. Gina was solely raised by her mother, when her parents separated at the age of seven. Lucasfilm eliminated Gina Carano from The Mandalorian following season 2 in 2021 due to her controversial behavior on social media. That's right, there won't be New Republic marshal Cara Dune in The Mandalorian season 3 -and in the subsequent Star Wars stories, for the same reason.
