Jenna Fischer is best known for her role as Pam Beesly on the acclaimed television show The Office For her role, she received an Emmy nomination for the Best Supporting Actress and Two SAG Awards for Outstanding Performance from the Ensemble Comedy.
Her birthplace was Fort Wayne, Indiana, but was raised mostly in St. Louis, Missouri. Jenna was attracted by her mother's church performances when she first started out.
After finishing The Office, Fischer, a theater-trained actress returned to her origins. Off-Broadway's production of Reasons to be Happy was written and directed by Neil LaBute, with Josh Hamilton, Leslie Bibb and Fred Weller. In Steve Martin's latest production Meteor Shower (an absurdist comedy co-written by Greg Germann and Josh Stamberg), she performed in the record-breaking Old Globe Theatre's world premiere.
The Office star Angela Kinsey's most trusted friend on the real world and Fischer began with the Office Ladies podcast, on Earwolf, in October of the year 2019. The show quickly was a hit. Each week it ranked among the Top Ten in global downloads which topped 200 million in just its initial two years. Office Ladies was awarded the iHeart Radio Podcast of the year award in January 2021.
She has written two books, The Actor's Life, a Survival Guide that outlines her journey to Hollywood as a working actor as well as Office BFF's, Tales of The Office From Two Great Friends that Were There which is a story of the greatest relationship they shared as well as their experience in The Office.
